Scope

This Return Policy applies to eligible purchases made directly from The Working Company, Inc. for Corporate Suite. It does not govern a reseller, app store, integration provider, or other third party, whose own refund rules apply. Nothing in this Policy limits a mandatory refund, cancellation, withdrawal, or consumer right under applicable law.

02

Eligible first subscription

A customer may request review of a refund for the workspace's first paid base-plan subscription charge within 7 calendar days after that charge. The request must identify the account, workspace, charge, reason, and any relevant service issue.

Eligibility creates a right to review under this Policy, not an automatic refund. We verify the charge, timing, account standing, usage, and exclusions before approval.

03

Working Credit deduction

Working Credits consumed during the eligible period are deducted from an approved refund at their catalog list value. If consumed-credit value equals or exceeds the eligible subscription charge, no refundable balance remains. Promotional or included credits may still be measured where the accepted catalog assigns a list value to their consumption.

04

Excluded purchases and accounts

  • subscription renewals and later base-plan charges;
  • Working Credit packs, Working Credit subscriptions, metered usage, add-ons, and other consumables;
  • taxes, duties, currency-conversion amounts, bank fees, and charges not retained by TWC, except where law requires;
  • enterprise, negotiated, reseller, or purchase-order transactions governed by separate terms;
  • accounts involved in fraud, chargeback abuse, policy evasion, or a material Terms or Acceptable Use violation; and
  • amounts already refunded, credited, disputed, reversed, or offset.
05

Cancellation is separate

Canceling a subscription prevents the next renewal but does not itself request or create a refund. A refund request does not automatically cancel future renewal. Use the available billing controls for cancellation and contact us separately within the eligibility window for refund review.

06

How to request review

Email [email protected] from the billing or account-owner address with the subject “REFUND REQUEST.” Include the workspace name or ID, charge date and amount, invoice or receipt reference, cancellation status, and a short explanation. Do not send complete card or bank details.

We may request reasonable information to verify account authority and the transaction. The request is timely if received before the end of the 7th calendar day in the time zone shown on the transaction or, if none is shown, Pacific Time.

07

Review and decision

We aim to acknowledge a complete request promptly and will communicate approval, denial, a request for information, and any Working Credit deduction. Complex fraud, tax, payment-processor, or account-ownership issues may extend review. If we deny a request, you may reply with relevant missing evidence for one reconsideration.

08

Approved refunds

Approved refunds are issued to the original payment method unless law requires otherwise. TWC initiates the refund after approval, but the card network, bank, currency, and payment provider control when it appears. Access, entitlements, and unused benefits associated with a refunded subscription may end when the refund is approved.

09

Payment disputes

Contact us before filing a chargeback so we can investigate. A chargeback does not expand eligibility under this Policy and may temporarily restrict the affected account while the payment provider reviews it. We will not penalize a good-faith exercise of non-waivable legal rights.

10

Policy changes

The version in effect when the eligible charge was made governs that charge, unless a later version is more favorable or law requires otherwise. We may change this Policy prospectively when our catalog or legal obligations change.
